Matthew Gillett is an Australian soccer referee currently officiating in the Australian A-League. He was selected to officiate selected football matches at the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.

History[edit]

Gillett started refereeing in his local district competition, the Manly Warringah Football Referees Association. In 2007, he was selected to referee in the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival.[1]

In 2009, he made his debut in the A-League as he was selected to officiate the Round 14 Wellington Phoenix v Perth Glory game on 8 November 2009.[2]
