Maveric Systems
Maveric Systems is a Technology Assurance Service Provider across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).[1] It was founded in 2000 by Ranga Reddy, P Venkatesh, NN Subramanian and VN Mahesh. At its inception its main service offering was Independent Software Testing. Since then, the firm has diversified and expanded into other aspects of technology assurance as well. The firm largely operates in the APAC, Middle East and UK markets[2]
It has its headquarters in Chennai, India with branch offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore, London (United Kingdom), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).[3]
History
The company was founded in 2000 by Ranga Reddy, P Venkatesh, NN Subramanian and VN Mahesh. During the early 2000s, technology offerings in India were growing more diverse and complex as companies made investments across functions. The initial plan for Maveric was to help and invest in companies that showed great promise prompting the tag line ‘catalysing business’. In the early 2000s Maveric received its first project for software testing from Standard Chartered and Citigroup, who were setting up their subsidiaries in Chennai. This project demonstrated a visible gap in the market and prompted them to change tracks towards the software testing and technology assurance space.[4]
