Medium Large is a black and white Web comic written and drawn by Francesco Marciuliano, who is also one of current writers and artists behind the Sally Forth comic series. Unlike Sally Forth, Medium Large does not focus on a single cast of characters, though there are some recurring features, most notably the fictitious Teenage Girl President series. The strip also focuses on pop culture arcana, spoofing a number of entertainment properties, including the artist's Sally Forth comic strip itself.
The humor is often filtered through the perspective of an otherwise mute observer known only as Medium Large Guy. MLG frequently watches the fictional Medium Large Network (a satire of cable news) or sits at a bar with other famous cartoon or pop cultural figures.
One of the most famous Medium Large strip is a parody of the comic strip B.C. where the main characters discuss whether they are even pretending to be cavemen any more.[1]
