She then played Junior Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton in the NBC television series, Law & Order: Los Angeles, from 2010–2011. Boone appeared in 2012's Step Up Revolution, the fourth release in the Step Up dance film series.[9] She also starred in the independent drama Leave Me Like You Found Me that year, which she filmed in Sequoia National Park.[10] Boone won the Gen Art Film Festival award for Best Actress for her performance.[5]

Boone had a recurring role on the CBS police drama, Blue Bloods, in 2013, as the temporary partner of Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg).[11] She then joined the cast of the NBC television series The Blacklist, starring opposite James Spader as rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen.[12] Boone will also appear in the 2013 ensemble comedy Welcome to the Jungle, alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kristen Schaal, Rob Huebel and Adam Brody.
