Mehmed Janjoš (born 5 August 1957) is a former Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player and current manager.

Career

Born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia, Janjoš began playing football for local side FK Sarajevo. He spent eight seasons with the club, winning the Yugoslav First League in 1985.

The following season, he moved to Spain to play in La Liga with Hércules CF.[1]

After retiring from playing football, Janjoš became a manager and enjoyed success with FK Sarajevo during the 1997/98 season when he led Sarajevo to victory in the Bosnia-Herzegovinian Cup and only narrowly missed out on the title.

In 1999, he was appointed assistant coach to Faruk Hadžibegić for Bosnia and Herzegovina's EURO 2000 qualifying campaign.

On 29 August 2016, he was appointed head coach of FK Sarajevo for the third time.[2]
