Meyer Robert Guggenheim
Born in New York City, he was the son of Daniel Guggenheim (1856–1930), brother of Harry Frank Guggenheim, and nephew of Simon Guggenheim. From 1938 until his death he was married to Rebecca Pollard who was previously married to William van Lennep and afterwards to John Logan.
