The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is a ministry of the Government of South Sudan. The incumbent minister is John Gai Yoah, while Bol Makueng Yuol serves as deputy minister.[1] In 2013 the Ministry changed the name to Ministry of General Education and Instruction.

The minister is John Gai Yaoh from SPLM and the Deputy Minister is Bol Makueng both from SPLM party, this is according to the appointments made by president Salva Kiir on 31st. July 2013.
