The Ministry of Finance (Greek: Υπουργείο Οικονομικών) is the government department responsible for Greece's public finances. As of 6 July 2015, the incumbent minister is Euclid Tsakalotos, who is also the Alternate Minister for International Economic Relations in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[1]

In the Cabinet of Alexis Tsipras, there are also two Alternate Ministers within the Ministry: Tryfon Alexiadis, who is Alternate Minister for Finance, and Dimitris Mardas, who is an Independent MP and Alternate Minister for Revenue. Mardas was appointed to his position on 27 January 2015. On 18 July 2015 Alexiadis replaced Nadia Valavani[2] who had been Alternate Minister for Finance since 27 January 2015.
