Football career[edit]

Born in Berga, Barcelona, Catalonia, Brought up at local RCD Espanyol's youth ranks, Miki spent the bulk of his years with the reserves. In two consecutive matchdays in the 2005–06 season, he managed two substitute appearances for the first team: at Villarreal CF (0–4 loss)[1] and at home against Sevilla FC (5–0 win).[2]

In the 2006 summer, Miki was released and joined another club in La Liga, Getafe CF, but he was immediately loaned to lowly Real Jaén and never appeared again for the Madrid side. Released, he resumed his career in third division with CE Sabadell FC and UE Lleida, also in his native region.

Still in his native region, for the 2010–11 campaign Miki signed for Gimnàstic de Tarragona in the second level.[3]
