History[edit]

The name "Moofaces" was created in the summer of 2007 by Tavares Antonio Robinson "Greenberg" and its beta version released within a few months in order to experiment with its targeted audience and general public's response.[citation needed] Tavares started testing out different side projects with the Moofaces name in North Hollywood, California, with Brandon Jay on and off in 2008 -2012. Then Tavares met Ozlem Bilis in 2009 from a common friend and started studying computer science together.

In 2013 Tavares and Ozlem relocated and started changed the idea of Moofaces and moved to Sunnyvale, California. They wanted to be closer to the greatest minds or the worlds smartest people.
