Muta of Daylam

Muta (Persian: موتا) was a Sasanian general of Dailamite origin. He is only known for participating in the battle of Waj Rudh against Nu'man where he led an army from Daylam during the Muslim conquest of Persia. His army, was, however, defeated and he was killed by the army of Nu'man.[1]
