My Glory Was I Had Such Friends is an upcoming American drama web television miniseries based on the memoir of the same name by Amy Silverstein and produced for Apple TV+. The series is set to star Jennifer Garner who will also executive produce alongside J. J. Abrams, Karen Croner, Ben Stephenson, and Amy Silverstein.

My Glory Was I Had Such Friends showcases "the power of friendship and the resilience of the human spirit as it follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as she waited for a second life-saving heart transplant."[1]

Development[edit]

On December 13, 2018, it was announced that Apple had given the production a straight-to-series order to a television miniseries adaptation of Amy Silverstein's 2017 memoir My Glory Was I Had Such Friends. Executive producers were set to include Jennifer Garner, J. J. Abrams, Karen Croner, Ben Stephenson, and Amy Silverstein. Production companies involved with the series were slated to consist of Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television.[1][2][3]

Alongside the series order announcement, it was confirmed that Jennifer Garner had been cast in the series' lead role.[1][2][3]
