Mycro sports

Mycro Sports is a manufacturer of helmet and sliothars (balls) for use in the game of hurling. It is based in Ballincollig, Co. Cork Out of only a few Mycro is the leading helmet maker in Ireland. Hurling players to have endorsed the helmet include Joe Deane, Ben O'Connor, James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick and Ronan Curran (who played a part in designing some of the helmets). They made the first helmet to pass the new National Irish Safety Standard for Hurling Helmets.
