National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, celebrated annually on October 8, promotes and celebrates clean energy Hydrogen and Fuel Cell technologies.
Dated October 8 (e.g. 10-08) in honor of the atomic weight of hydrogen 1.008amu[1][2][3][4] Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day.[5][6] [7]

Senate Resolution 217 of the 114th U.S congress designating October 8 as National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day was unanimously supported on September 29, 2015.[8][9][10]

The House of Representatives submitted H.Res.468 on October 8 expressing support to designate October 8, 2015 as National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day[11]

National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day was first officially celebrated October 8, 2015 by Enthusiasts, Energy Officials, and Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Industry members.

National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day is celebrated in conjunction with International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day[12]
