Neil James Elshire (born March 8, 1958) is a former professional American football player who played defensive end for six seasons for the Minnesota Vikings.

Career

In his six seasons with the Vikings, Elshire tallied his career high in sacks with 9.5 with a total of 19 in his career.

Personal life

He is currently the defensive coordinator for the Mountain View High School football team in Bend, Oregon, where he resides with his wife and five children.
