All cadets enter the academy following a test, review and interview process loosely conducted by the inept Nevada Department of Corrections' own personnel gestapo / IP "investigators." These propaganda specialists have brainwashed entry-level and naive individuals that a fruitful career lies just ahead. The academy is 3 months long. Upon completion, everyone is assigned to shifts and already given instiutional instructions.

The cadets, already in their first year of probation, begin working and attempt to apply academy techniques-only to find the senior officers and supervisors are VERY political. Inmates pose little or no real threat. Co-officers are their biggest foes.

Most cadets are dismissed just before the first year of probation is completed. Nevada Department of Corrections then fully exercises their "at will" and "work state" statutes. Unless a cadet receives and endorsement or informal "good ole boy" nod from a supervisor, he / she is terminated with extreme cowardice and no warning.


No one should EVER put any trust in this department. It ruins lives.
