New World Waiting is a novel for children by the American writer Anne Gussin Faigen set in 1900 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

While living with her mother and waiting for her father and brother to arrive from Poland, fifteen-year-old Molly adapts to American life with some help from her schoolteacher, Willa Cather.[1]
