News J is a 24 X 7, 365 days Tamil news broadcasting channel headquartered at Nungambakkam in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is run by Mantaro Network Pvt.Ltd., founded by C.Ve.Radhaakrishnen, S.Dineshkumar, A.Vivek and K.Kubenthiran from Tamil Nadu.[1].It is named after late AIADMK supremo J. Jayalalithaa.

History and Profile

Launched in November’ 2017[2] News J offers 24 X 7 current affairs news & happenings of public interest. News J is distributed in the states of Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry by the state run Arasu Cable TV and by leading private MSO’s such as Aadhaar, Akshaya, Manakkula Vinayagar Network, SCV, TCCL and VK Digital etc.
