Ninoy Aquino LRT station is a proposed stop on the Manila LRT (Line 1). It is part of the LRT Line 1 South Extension Project. The station is named after its nearby avenue, Ninoy Aquino Avenue which in turn has been named after former Senator Ninoy Aquino.
The LRT-1 plan calls for an almost entirely elevated extension of approximately 11.7 km. The extension will have 8 passenger stations with an option for 2 future stations (Manuyo Uno and Talaba), all intended to be constructed above-ground.
When completed, the station will serve Barangays La Huerta, Sto. Niño and nearby San Dionisio, Parañaque and will be close to St. Andrew's Cathedral, St. Andrew's School (Parañaque), St. Paul College of Parañaque, Parañaque Science High School, Duty Free Philippines Fiesta Mall, Olivarez Plaza, Irasan Complex, MIASCOR Cargo Center and the Dampa Fresh Food Market.
