North East Wales (Template:Lang-cy) is a region of Wales corresponding to Wrexham County Borough (Template:Lang-cy) and the counties of Flintshire (Template:Lang-cy) and Denbighshire (Template:Lang-cy), together comprising most of the preserved county of Clwyd.

Usage and definition

The term North East Wales is used by the Welsh Government in the Wales Spatial Plan[1] and the BBC.[2]
