Northcross is a suburb of the North Shore in the Auckland metropolitan area in northern New Zealand. It is located on the north shore of the Waitematā Harbour.

Northcross had a population of 4,506 at the 2013 New Zealand census, an increase of 1,470 people since the 2006 census. There were 2,109 males and 2,400 females. Figures have been rounded and may not add up to totals.[1]

The suburb houses East Coast Bays who are current Champions of the 2010 Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier.

Northcross is home to East Coast Bays who compete in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier.


Northcross Intermediate is an intermediate (years 7-8) school with a roll of 1230 students as of March 2019.[2][3] Sherwood School is a contributing primary (years 1-6) school with a 439 students as of March 2019.[2][4] Sherwood celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2001.[5]

Both schools are coeducational. The two sites are separated by playing fields. After school care for children at Northcross is provided at Sherwood.
