The Northern Ireland Embroidery Guild was set up in 1980 to promote the craft and exhibition of embroidery. The Guild provides a focus and meeting place for people to learn new skills through lectures, demonstrations and workshops. The N.I.E.G. aims to raise public awareness of the high standard of textile work in Northern Ireland by exhibiting the work of members.
