History and profile
The magazine was started by Editora Abril in 1973. The content editorial of all of the editions is composed of the following themes: love/sex, life/work, famous people, beauty/health and fashion/style.
The reader profile of NOVA is a young woman, that she works out and between 18 and 49 years, of the classes A, B and C.[clarification needed]
