Online Trading Academy is a franchise-based company that sells instruction about day trading. The company was founded by Eyal Shahar in 1997 as a trading floor, and shifted its mission to training in 2001. [1]


In 2006 the company started to offer in its Middle East and North Africa - Regional center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates an online course in stock trading.[2]

In 2010, Online Trading Academy signed a pact with Sharekhan, one of India’s leading retail broking companies, to provide its trading and investing education to customers in Mumbai, India.[3]
