Onosma is a genus of flowering plants in the family Boraginaceae. They are native to the Mediterranean and western Asia. They grow in dry, sunny habitats with rocky, sandy substrates.[1] Some are popular as rock garden plants.[2]

Estimates of the number of species in the genus range from about 85[3] or 88[4] to 150.[1][5][6] The systematics are unclear and the group is in need of study and revision.[1]
