Neaera are a death metal band from Münster, Germany, who released six albums from 2005 through 2013, with their final album Ours is the Storm released on March 1, 2013 in Europe and on March 5, 2013 in the United States through Metal Blade Records. On September 3, 2015, Neaera announced that they were disbanding following a farewell tour. They played their last show in Münster on December 28, 2015.

Musical style[edit]

Tobias Buck started Neaera to change the musical influence of the style he had played before with fellow Münster death metal band Malzan. The band was interested in the Swedish death metal genre, and decided to create a sound of their own, based on similar styles.
