The Pan American Junior Championship is an international field hockey competition for men and women organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF). The tournament started in the year 1978 for men's teams and in 1988 for women's. Both tournaments serve as the qualifiers for the Hockey Junior World Cup and the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup, respectively.

Only one country has dominated both event's history. Argentina's men have won every single tournament, while the women's team has failed to win only one edition.
