Pantai Acheh

Pantai Acheh is a small town, located at the end of Jalan Pantai Acheh, in the state of Penang, Malaysia. Pantai Acheh contains many farms, including pig farms and fisheries.

Pantai Acheh is a relatively small town, with one small school and a few restaurants and small shops found in the small town. There are no major developments and there are a very few amenities located within Pantai Acheh. The nearest hospital is Hospital Balik Pulau.

The Sheikh Tahir Jalaluddin Falak Observatory is located on the road approaching Pantai Acheh, to look for the crescent moon to mark the beginning of Muslim month of Ramadhan, Shawwal, and Zulhijjah, to celebrate fasting month of Ramadhan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha. The towns of Teluk Bahang and Batu Ferringhi are located nearby.

Pantai Acheh is also a sunrise and sunset sightseeing place as nearby settlements are unable to observe sunrises and sunsets. There is no sunset in Teluk Bahang and Balik Pulau.

The Pantai Kerachut beach is located near Pantai Acheh.

The snake and narrow road in Penang is in here. The roads started at Pantai Acheh road and ends near Air Putih road where the Chief Minister of Penang YAB Lim Guan Eng voted the state assembly.

There are a few travellers who visit Pantai Acheh as they want to discover and visit the entirety of Penang. The travellers will start their journey from the George Town Jetty. They will pass through Batu Ferringhi, Pantai Acheh, Teluk Kumbar, Sungai Nibong and up back to George Town.
