Parakkum Paavai (English: The Flying Woman) is a 1966 Indian Tamil language film directed by T. R. Ramanna, starring M. G. Ramachandran, B. Saroja Devi, Kanchana and J. P. Chandrababu in the lead roles. The film ran for 80 days.

Plot

Jeeva (M. G. Ramachandran) promised Vedhatchalam (Chittor V. Nagaiah), father of Kala (B. Saroja Devi), to keep an eye on her. In order to do so, he becomes a trapeze artist in the National Circus in 1960s India.

The film was not commercially successful, as it ran for only 80 days in theatres.[3]
