Parkwood Secondary College (PSC) was a co-educational public secondary school located in the Melbourne, Victoria, Australia suburb of Ringwood North. The school was founded in 1979, and closed at the end of the 2012 school year. The land and buildings have since been re-opened as the North Ringwood Community House

It provided high school education for Years 7 through 12, with Year 11 and 12 students undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Education. Parkwood Secondary College formerly offered an extensive range of VCE subjects as well as the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning program.

2012 Closure

Due to falling enrolments, on 30 July 2012 the Parkwood School Council announced its intention to close the school at the end of the year.[1] There were approximately 300 students enrolled at the school in its final year of operation. Many of the college's students moved to either the nearby Norwood Secondary College or the newly merged Melba College after the school's closure. Some students of the school posted pictures, videos, and messages on a Facebook page in its memory.[2]

2014 Re-Opening

After sitting dormant for nearly 2 years and becoming the target of vandals,[3] Maroondah City Council announced its intention to re-open Parkwood Secondary College as a Community House and Men's Shed.[4] Significant works were undertaken including the removal of significant amounts of graffiti and vandalism[5] from the site. Since its re-opening in 2014,[6] it now serves as the Ringwood North Community House.
