Pine Johnson
Pine Johnson (October 14, 1915 - Feb 26, 1990), born James Lewis Johnson to Una Culbert and William Welborn Johnson near the city, of Seymour, TX in Baylor County.[1] In 1945, Pine started working for E. Paul Waggoner at his 3D Stock Farm in Arlington, TX. He trained the legendary cutting horse sire, Poco Bueno, and several other great Quarter Horses including Poco Lena and Jesse James.[2]
