Platt Whitman (February 5, 1871 – 1935) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Whitman was born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.[1] He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1893 and the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1895.

His father was Joel Whitman.[2]

Career

Whitman was elected to the Assembly in 1908. Later, he was a member of the Senate from the 17th district from 1915 to 1918. He was a Republican.
