Portal talk:Nanotechnology/Selected content

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here are some general criteria for inclusion on these lists:

  • Selected articles should generally be at least C-class, and should not contain dubious claims or have bias/neutrality problems.
  • Selected biographies are mostly taken from lists of awardees of specific prizes (a nanotechnology-related Nobel, Kavli, Feynman and other Foresight Institute prizes, Pioneer, UPenn NBIC, ISNCSE prizes), but these may be excluded if their articles are too short. Other biographies should have a very clear notability claim on the level of having founded or invented a subfield of nanotechnology.
  • Selected images should not duplicate images used in the selected article or biography summaries.

Initial candidates for selected content[edit]

I'd like to set up the selected article, biography, and image boxes on Portal:Nanotechnology to rotate periodically over the course of a year. Right now we are looking for 26 articles, 52 biographies, and 13 or 26 images. Please feel free to suggest and discuss candidates here. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 00:20, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

(Stricken-out items are microstubs or otherwise too short, but are otherwise eligible if expanded)
