The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukrainian: Прем'єр-міністр Автономної республіки Крим; Russian: Председатель Совета министров Автономной Республики Крым; Crimean Tatar: Qırım Muhtar Cumhuriyetiniñ Baş Naziri) is the head of government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, located in the southern region of Ukraine. Sometimes referred as the Premier-Minister of Crimea, out of brevity, the position's official name is the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the ARC. The Chairman, whose nomination is proposed by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea (Crimean parliament) with the approval of the President of Ukraine and then approved by the Crimean parliament, presides over the Council of Ministers of Crimea.[1]
