The Qingdao–Taiyuan high-speed railway (simplified Chinese: 青太高速铁路; traditional Chinese: 青太高速鐵路; pinyin: Qīngtài Gāosù Tiělù) is a high-speed railway line under construction in China. It is part of the CRH's system of passenger dedicated lines, connecting Qingdao Station and Taiyuan South Station. It will be 873 km long. When complete it will shorten travel times between Qingdao amd Taiyuan from the current 12 hours to about 4 hours.
Qingdao–Taiyuan High-Speed Railway is made of three sections. Currently, one section is operational and trains are detouring via the Qingdao–Jinan Passenger Railway until the Qingdao-Jinan Section is complete, while the Shijiazhuang-Jinan section is under construction and will open in 2018.
