The Rancagua derby refers to football matches between O'Higgins and Enfoque, first contested in 2011. O'Higgins play at El Teniente and Enfoque at the Estadio Municipal Patricio Mekis.

History[edit]

The old derby of Rancagua was between Braden and América during mid–1950s, disappearing when Asociación Nacional de Fútbol's president Carlos Dittborn, collaborated to establish O'Higgins on 7 April 1955. After the foundation of Enfoque in 2007, was created a rivalry between that teams, facing for first time in the 2011 Copa Chile, in where both teams tied 2–2,[1] and then, O'Higgins directed by Ivo Basay in that moment won 3–0 at Parque El Teniente.[2] On 2013, the teams played a preparation friendly match, winning O'Higgins 3-1.
