Republic of China legislative election, 1992
The Election for the 2nd Legislative Yuan were held in the Republic of China (R.O.C./Taiwan) on 19 December 1992.[ 1] [ 2]
Background [ edit ]
This was the first direct legislative election in Taiwan. The result was a victory for the ruling party Kuomintang , which won 95 of the 161 seats. Voter turnout was 72.0%.
