Richard Cambridge is an actor and producer, best known for Golden Years (2016 film), Hollyoaks (tv series in 1995)[2][3] and The IT Crowd (2006).


When he was 16 and studying for his GCSEs, he got back pains, later he was diagnosed by a doctor when he was 21, had pyelonephritis. On his 22nd birthday, he had a nine-hour operation to remove his right kidney.[4]

He has also appeared in US commercial (within cinema's) for Butterfinger (candybars).

He also appeared in Miburn's music video What Will You Do (When the Money Goes)? in 2007.[2]

In 2015, Richard with actor partners Jessica Rose and Darren Darnborough founded '', a network for actors looking for scene readers, to help actors learn lines from a script.[5]

In 2019, he was a special agent in the new TV advert campaign for Zovirax.[6]
