Moore made the England under 21's team the summer of the trials in 1998, and that August was selected for his first tournament; the Under 21's European Cup in Poznan, Poland where the team also managed to pick up a silver medal. Moore's hockey went from strength to strength and in February 2003 aged 21 Moore made his Senior International debut. Though he tried to keep his modelling career out of the country, doing only adverts not likely to be seen in the UK, for companies such as Tchibo, Citroen Financial Services and Deutsche Bahn it was only going to be a matter of time until the English modelling world found him. Moore has done a few adverts in England, mainly in keeping with his sporting career but recently appeared in the Zurich TV commercial (2010) with newborn son Alfred.
Moore is married to wife Camilla. Together they have two sons, Alfred Jack Roland Moore (born 20 July 2010), Finlay John Alexander Moore (born 18 September 2012) and a daughter, Delilah Adey Elizabeth Moore (born 16 December 2013).
