Goméz made his professional debut with the Tampa Bay Rays organization in 2010. He signed with the Giants before the 2017 season, and pitched for the Sacramento River Cats of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League. The Giants promoted him to the major leagues on September 5, 2017.[1] He made his major league debut that day.[2] He was released on July 5, 2018. He resigned a few weeks after but became a free agent after the season ended.[3]
