Gold medal – first place 1990 Beijing Bantamweight

Roberto Jalnaiz (born November 15, 1966) is a retired amateur boxer from the Philippines, who won the gold medal at the 1990 Asian Games in the men's bantamweight (– 54 kg) division. He represented his native country twice at the Summer Olympics: in 1988 and 1992.

Jalnaiz was the only Filipino gold medalist in the 11th Asian Games held in Beijing, China in 1990. In 1991, he also won gold during the 12-nation Asian Invitational Boxing Championship in Bangkok, Thailand and another gold medal during the 1991 Southeast Asian Games in Manila.[citation needed]
