Rockstar Japan was the Japanese label of Rockstar Games that collaborated with Capcom who owned exclusive distribution rights to the Grand Theft Auto series in Japan. After Rockstar regained Japanese distribution rights, the studio was quietly dissolved. Rockstar Lincoln now handles the localization of Rockstar's games for the Japanese market, with distribution handled by the Japanese arm of Take-Two Interactive.
