Sąkieły Małe [sɔnˈkʲɛwɨ ˈmawɛ] (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Budry, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north of Budry, 16 km (10 mi) north-east of Węgorzewo, and 110 km (68 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

History

Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). It was ceded to Poland after World War II.
