The League of Legends SEA Tour (LST) is a professional League of Legends tournament with teams in Southeast Asia that was founded in 2018 Summer Split, replaces the Garena Premier League (GPL). The competition currently consists of teams who qualifies the LST qualifiers from each minor region: Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore, Philippines, Thailand. Winners of LST will represent Southeast Asia to play in the international competitions: Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship.[1]

Minor regions of SEA Tour[edit]

In 2019 Spring, based on the League of Legends local servers in Southeast Asia that have been released by Garena, LST is devided to 4 minor regions. Number of spots in Spring Major for each region is 1, number of spots in Summer Major will be decided based on the result of Spring Major.

Format (2019 Spring)[edit]

LST Spring is devided in to 4 stages:

  • Ranked Online Qualifier (Stage 1): Each local server (Indonesia, Malaysia & Singpaore, Philippines, Thailand) will select some top teams with highest points by Ranked Solo Queue. Some teams or e-sports organizations will be invited based on their achievements in the past. All 16 teams of 2 parts will be qualified for National Qualifier of each minor region.
  • National Qualifier (Stage 2): In each minor region, 16 teams is drawn in 4 groups. Double Round Robin. Matches are best of one. The best team of each group qualifies for National Minor of each minor region.
  • National Minor (Stage 3): In each minor region, top 4 teams from each groups will be drawn in Single elimination. Matches are best of three. Winner will represent their minor region in LST Major Stage.
  • LST Major (Stage 4): 4 winner teams from 4 minor regions will be drawn in Single elimination. Semifinals are best of three. Final is best of five. Winner of LST Spring Major will represent Southeast Asia at Mid-Season Invitational Play-in Stage.
