SP Cinecorp Cinematic Venture Ltd is an Indian film/ web-series production house and content studio based in Vadodara, Gujarat and having operations in Mumbai & Gujarat. It was founded in 2015 by Sharad Patel. It has produced both regional and Bollywood films.


SP Cinecorp came into existence in 2015, after the success of a regional Gujarati film Chhello Divas. It was produced by Sharad Patel and made a box office collection of INR 20 Crore.

In 2016, SP Cinecorp produced Buddha in a Traffic Jam. The film was covered in mainstream media due to its political content and screening at JNU. Before its theatrical release, it was showcased in film festivals and won the "Best Original Screenplay" in a foreign language award at the Madrid International Film Festival, "Best Actor" at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards (2015) and was also officially nominated at the Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI) 2014 in the India Gold category.

In 2017, SP Cinecorp produced and released Sweetiee Weds NRI, followed by Still About Section 377 (2018).

In the year 2019, SP Cinecorp produced and released The Tashkent Files. The film is an addition to the long list of political movies after Uri: The Surgical Strike, The Accidental Prime Minister and Thackeray. It was recognised at the International Film Festival of India[citation needed] and won the "Surprise of the year" 2019 Award at the ZEE ETC Bollywood Business Awards. In the year 2021 the movie also won two accolades at the 67th National Film Awards for the categories: "Best Screenplay" (Dialogues) and "Best Supporting Actor" (Female).[citation needed]

In 2021 the film production house will be releasing Vickida No Varghodo, a fun-filled Gujarati rom-com starring Malhar Thakar and directed by Rahul Bhole and Vinit Kanojia.[1]
