SPi Global offers business outsourcing solutions in industries such as: publishing, healthcare, financial services, entertainment and media, government and utilities, retail, and telecommunications. It functions in outsourcing call centers customer care, customer service (voice and non-voice), help desk support, content editorial and production, content conversion, coding, database structuring and support, transaction processing, medical transcription, billing and revenue cycle management, and coding and billing compliance.

On February 5, 2013, PLDT sold 80% shares of SPi Global to London-based CVC Capital Partners.[2]
