The Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Sacramento is a California State social justice network founded by Kristen DiAngelo and Stacey Swimme[1] June 27, 2014. SWOP Sacramento is dedicated to reducing harm, improving healthcare and upholding both the civil and human rights of sex workers and their communities. Its focus is on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy. It addresses the health and wellbeing of both trafficking victims and those engaged in survival sex.

SWOP Sacramento is a Northern California chapter of The Sex Workers Outreach Project USA.

SWOP Sacramento in conjunction with SANE Safer Alternatives through Networking and Education conducted a needs assessment of sex workers in Sacramento. This survey found severe homelessness and SWOP Sacramento developed programs to address the needs.[1]
