Diversity
33 species

Saitis is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). The 30 recognized species are spread worldwide.

Distribution

It is possible that the species from Australia belong to other genera, such as Maratus.

Species

Only fourteen species have diagnostic drawings of any sort, and it is likely that at least some species should be transferred to other genera (Hall 2009).
