Samantha Ryan (born March 3, 1978) is the stage name of a former American pornographic actress.[1] Ryan is retired from the adult film industry.[3]

Ryan graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1996 and later attended the University of Kansas.[4] She has a real estate license.[2]

Ryan began appearing in adult films in 2001 at the age of around 23 and has since appeared in over 500 movies.[1] She also directed the 2007 video Sorority Sluts: Iota Eta Pi.[1]

In 2010, Ryan threatened to sue a sports-talk program called Kentucky Sports Radio over blog post titled "Top 5 reasons being a UK fan is better than being Samantha Ryan" that allegedly parodied the fact that she was a pornographic actress. Ryan's attorneys called the post "false and defamatory". One of the hosts later issued a retraction done in humorous style.[5][6]
