Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga (English: I Hope You're The One) is a Filipino drama series starring Tanya Garcia and Dingdong Dantes. Its story revolves around the love affair of a wealthy young man named Carlos Miguel and Cecilia, a poor barrio girl. Their romance is opposed by many, but the two are ready to fight for their love.

The series re-aired internationally through GMA Pinoy TV in 2005-2006 and its sister international network GMA Life TV in mid-2008-2009.

Story[edit]

The love story revolves around two people: a wealthy man named Carlos Miguel Altamonte (Dingdong Dantes) who falls in love with poor barrio lass Cecilia Fulgencio (Tanya Garcia). The two fall in love and decide to marry. Because of lies and obsession, they are set apart by people with Gilbert (Eric Quizon) restoring Cecilia's identity and Olga (Maricar De Mesa) who plots her revenge on the couple. In the end will the lies and the love of the human heart restore the innocence and love back into everyone's hearts? Or will it ruin them?

Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga was remade in 2012 and it stars Andrea Torres and Mikael Daez. The series premiered on GMA's Afternoon Prime block on September 3, 2012, replacing Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka?. It is the second remake of a GMA produced drama TV series after Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin.[1]
